Attribution John Hancock

Welcome to John Hancock who is a member of the Railway Group at Ilkley & District u3a. This talk was one of many shared between Ilkley and Barnsley u3a via zoom during Lockdown.

But why build such an imposing station at this location in the late 19th Century and how did it become such an impressive destination station in the early 21st century? All this and more when we greet John on Monday 2nd September.
